Airborne Museum
Located just a few kilometers from Utah Beach, the Airborne Museum is the largest museum in Europe dedicated to the American paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions who participated in the D-Day landings in Normandy in 1944 during World War II.
In 2021, Kaléo designed the interactive exhibits for the C47 pavilion, which houses the legendary aircraft, featuring mappings, 3D animations, and a film on Operation Overlord. In 2024, Kaléo will create the audiovisual devices for the new Waco building, dedicated to the glider, with wall projections and archival films, further enriching the museum's immersive experience.
The innovative, accessible, and educational visitor paths pay tribute to the peace won at an immeasurable cost. By celebrating the reconciliation of former enemies, they foster empathy, respect, and tolerance—values essential for a future founded on lasting peace.
