What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Kaléo commits itself to ensure that the collection and processing of your data, carried out from the kaleo.fr website, are in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and with the French Data Protection Act.

Contact form

Kaléo may ask you to provide your name, e-mail address, telephone number. By providing this information, you expressly accept that it will be processed by Kaleo for the purposes mentioned at the end of each form (the contact request and the commercial relationship or services that may result from it)!
Each form limits the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary (data minimisation) and indicates in particular: name, e-mail address, telephone number

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymous string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture is visible to the public as part of your comment..

Media

If you are a registered user and you upload images to the website, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF data of GPS coordinates. Visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.

Purpose of the processing 

Kaléo may process your personal information: To provide you with the information you have requested, to be able to contact you about various events related to Kaléo, including a contact request and the commercial relationship or services that may result from it.

Recipient

Only Kaléo is the recipient of your personal information. This information, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party. Kaléo does not market personal data of its website visitors and users.

Retention period

Your personal information will be kept by Kaleo only for the period of time required for the purpose of the collection, which will not exceed 24 months in any case.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

How long your data is stored

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be automatically recognised and approved rather than left in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (where possible), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information.

The rights you have over your data
